Project Manager at Saab

Your Role

As a project manager with us, you will play a central role in driving and executing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for the entire project process - from bidding and project definition to execution and delivery. The work is event-driven and requires you to quickly evaluate situations, make decisions, and take initiative.

You will be an active part of our sales team and work closely with both customers and partners. During the execution phase of contracts, you will be the primary contact for the customer and responsible for ensuring that contracts are fulfilled as agreed, including any negotiations. Your focus will be on achieving both short- and long-term profitability by delivering high quality, good delivery precision, and long-term customer satisfaction.

You will be part of a cross-functional team where collaboration and commitment to business development are in focus. We offer you a dynamic workplace with the opportunity to influence and participate in the many different responsibilities within the Surface Sensor Solutions unit in Halmstad.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical background and leadership experience, preferably in project management. You have a strong business and customer understanding as well as a good ability to navigate contract negotiations. If you also have financial understanding, we see it as a significant advantage.

To thrive in this role, we see that you are a team player with great drive and perseverance. You find it easy to collaborate with different functions and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You are quality-conscious, structured, and used to handling deadlines. When necessary, you are not afraid to work operationally in projects to ensure their success.

We value your communication skills and see that you express yourself well in both Swedish and English. You are curious, learn quickly, and have a desire to understand each customer's unique needs and circumstances.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
